October 3, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 16 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (6 cases in Guangdong, 3 cases in Sichuan, 2 cases in Yunnan, 2 cases in Shaanxi, 1 case in Tianjin, 1 case in Shanghai, 1 case in Guangxi);
10 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 272 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the number of serious cases was the same as the previous day.
195 confirmed cases (including 1 case of severe illness) and 7 suspected cases from overseas. A total of 2901 confirmed cases, a total of 2706 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on October 3, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 195 confirmed cases (including 1 case of severe illness), a total of 80,621 cases of cured discharge, 4,634 cumulative deaths, a total of 85,450 confirmed cases reported, and 7 suspected cases. A total of 835,190 close contacts were traced, and 7439 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 26 new cases of asymptomatic infection (all imported from abroad);
received a total of 5671 confirmed cases from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Of these,
5108 cases (4849 discharges, 105 deaths), 46 cases (46 discharges) in the Macao Special Administrative Region and 517 cases (484 discharges and 7 deaths) in the
regions.
