Hepatoid adenocarcinoma of the stomach (HAS) is a very rare but highly malignant gastric tumor in clinical practice

Figure 1: Research strategy for gastric liver-like adenocarcinoma

Researchers conducted multi-omics joint analysis on gastric hepatoid adenocarcinoma, and comprehensively applied exon sequencing, transcriptome sequencing and single-cell transcriptome sequencing methods, and completed 58 tumor tissues of 55 patients with gastric hepatoid adenocarcinoma.

In order to further explore the gene expression characteristics of gastric liver-like adenocarcinoma, the researchers systematically compared the expression profiles of gastric liver-like adenocarcinoma with gastric adenocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma

Figure 3: Gene expression characteristics of gastric liver-like adenocarcinoma

Finally, using single-cell transcriptome research methods, the researchers conducted a preliminary exploration of the tumor microenvironment of gastric-hepatoid adenocarcinoma and discovered the complex cell differentiation characteristics of gastric-hepatoid adenocarcinoma (Figure 4)

In summary, this study systematically analyzed the molecular characteristics of gastrohepatoid adenocarcinoma at the genome, transcriptome, and microenvironmental levels
