    For a long time, most studies on the impact of climate change on human beings have focused on the impact of some extreme weather conditions on human survival, and few studies have addressed the impact of climate change on human daily li.

    For the study, a research team from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark collected 741 sleep records from more than 47,000 adults from sleep tracking devices in 68 continental countries, and comprehensively assessed daily meteorological data in the places where they liv.

    as shown by data:

    ①When the night temperature is higher than 30℃, the per capita sleep time is reduced by 108 minutes;

    ②The probability that people sleep less than 7 hours gradually increases with the increase of nighttime temperature;

    ③ Compared with the baseline temperature of 5°C-10°C, the lowest nighttime temperature higher than 25°C increases the probability of people sleeping less than 7 hours by 5 percentage poin.

    Why does nighttime temperature affect sleep time?

    Why does nighttime temperature affect sleep time?

    In order to study how sleep time is affected by temperature, the researchers built corresponding models to simulate predictio.

    "Our bodies have adapted to maintain a stable core body temperature, which is the mechanism humans rely on to survive," said Kelton Minor, author of the pap.

    In addition, there are age, gender, and economic differences in the effect of temperature on sleep durati.

    In addition, women's core body temperature dropped earlier at night than men under the same conditions, a feature that may expose women to higher temperatures as they enter sle.

    Sleep time is more negatively affected by nighttime temperature in poorer regions than in high-income countries, suggesting that for residents of low- and middle-income countries, sleep time loss may increase disproportionately for every 1°C increase in nighttime temperature (Figure

    According to the researchers' projections, total annual sleep loss due to warmer nighttime temperatures is likely to increase steadily by mid-century, with 50-58 per capita sleep hours lost per year by 2099 under increased greenhouse gases hou.

    As we all know, global warming is one of the manifestations of the pollution of the natural environme.

    From this study above, we can see that pollution remains the world's largest environmental risk factor for disease and premature death, with a significant increase in deaths from all types of pollution, including air pollution, increasing since 2000 about 6
