researchers at the Xishuangdana Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences recently "encountered" an orchid they had never seen before on a roadside hillside while conducting a study of jade phoenix plants in Ma Lipo, Wenshan, Yunnan Province.
