PPG Industries completes acquisition of Flood Australia assets

: PPG Industrial Group has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Flood®Australia identified assets, financial details have not been disclosed. FloodAustralia produces and distributes specialty wood colorants and automotive coatings for customer, commercial
and
additive solutions.
PPG Chairman and Chief Operating Officer Michael McGarry said: "This acquisition will enable PPG to further expand the supply of
building coatings
in Australia and gain a foothold in the wood colorant sector." We look forward to providing our customers with products of the same quality as the Flud brand. "
Australia's Flood products are mainly distributed in Bunnings, Masters, Mitre10, Danks and other furniture decoration stores and other independent paint dealers. This acquisition does not include manufacturing assets and equipment.
PPG currently manufactures and distributes Flood wood colorant products mainly in North America.
