The installation and use of balance valve 1 The installation position of balance valve can be installed on the water supply pipeline or the return pipeline (only one place needs to be installed in each loop) For the primary loop side of the thermal power station, in order to facilitate the balance commissioning, it is recommended to install the balance valve on the return pipe with low water temperature The balance valve on the main pipe should be installed behind the water supply main pipe pump (downstream of the water pump) to prevent cavitation of the water pump due to the low pressure in front of the water pump (behind the valve) 2 It shall be installed on the straight pipe section as far as possible because the balance valve has the flow measurement function In order to make the water flow before and after the valve flow stable and ensure the measurement accuracy, the balance valve shall be installed on the straight pipe section as far as possible if conditions permit 3 Pay attention to the balance between the new system and the original system When the new system installed with the balance valve is connected to the original heating (cooling) pipe network, it is necessary to pay attention to the water distribution balance between the new system and the original system, so as to avoid that the water resistance of the new system (or the modified system) installed with the balance valve is higher than that of the original system, and the water flow can not reach the expected value As shown in Figure 5, (a) the new system is connected to the end of the original system; (b) the new system is connected to the middle position of the original system, and a balance valve shall be added at the inlet of the original system 4 It is not allowed to change the opening of balance valve at will after the installation of the pipe network system, and the test conditions are met, use special intelligent instrument to debug and adjust all balance valves, and lock the opening of each valve, so that the pipe network can achieve the balance of hydraulic conditions During the normal operation of the pipe network system, the opening of the balance valve shall not be changed at will, especially the opening locking device 5 It is unnecessary to install the stop valve When repairing a loop, the balance valve on the loop can be closed At this time, the balance valve acts as the stop valve to block the water flow After the repair, it will return to the original locked position Therefore, it is unnecessary to install stop valve when balance valve is installed 6 When the system adds (or cancels) the loop, it should be readjusted When adding (or canceling) the loop in the pipe network system, in addition to adding (or closing) the corresponding balance valve, in principle, all the new balance valves and the balance valve in the original system loop should be readjusted (the branch balance valve in the original loop does not need to be readjusted).
