    Recently, researchers from Guangdong Institute of pharmacy, School of life science and biopharmaceutical, and Key Laboratory of biotechnology candidate drug research in Guangdong Province published papers to clarify the protective effect and mechanism of Gehua on the myocardium of mice with acute myocardial infarction It is suggested that Gehua extract can protect the myocardium from acute myocardial infarction by increasing the content of SOD and decreasing the expression of β Ark1 in myocardium This article was published in the 2nd issue of Shenzhen Journal of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in 2014 The acute myocardial infarction model was established by ligating the left anterior descending branch of the coronary artery in mice The experiment was divided into five groups: normal saline group, compound Danshen group, Pueraria extract low, medium and high dose group The protective effect was evaluated by the changes of myocardial infarction area and myocardial enzymes, and the mechanism was elucidated by detecting the content of SOD and MDA in serum and the expression of β - Ark1 and eNOS genes in myocardium Compared with the normal saline group, Gehua extract can reduce the myocardial infarction area (P < 0.05), the serum central muscle enzyme content (P < 0.05), the serum SOD content (P < 0.05), the serum MDA content (P < 0.05) and the myocardial β - Ark1 expression (P < 0.05).
