The consumption period indication system will be officially implemented
from January 1, 2023.

from January 1, 2031 to improve the refrigerated circulation environment (10°C→5°C), etc.

Question 2: What does it mean to apply the consumption term indication system in advance?

It is difficult to change the packaging of multiple products at the same time according to the implementation date (January 1, 2023), and it is necessary to consider the production of packaging paper, templates, stickers, replacement costs, etc.
In order to stabilize the implementation of the system, enterprises that have prepared can indicate the consumption period
before the implementation date.

Question 3: What is the method of applying the consumption term indication system in advance?

When the consumption period is applied, the newly produced and processed products should be accompanied by the production method specification and the consumption period setting instructions to the product production report, and the product production report
shall be made to the regulatory department.

Products with a consumption period set for the same date (period) based on the existing circulation period do not require additional changes
to the product production report.

However, for products that extend the existing circulation period date (period) and set the consumption period, the product production report change report and the consumption period extension statement (the basis for changing the consumption period document) shall be attached to the product production report to the regulatory department

In order to prevent the waste of resources caused by the consumption of existing packaging paper and to implement the relevant system, existing packaging marked with a "circulation period" can continue to be sold without sticker processing, and this interim measure is implemented
during the transition period (January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023).
