    Royal Norwegian Salmon Company (NRS) acquires SalmoNor, ranks sixth in the world

    Norwegian maritime group NTS announced that its two salmon companies will merge their businesses, making Royal Norwegian Salmon (NRS) the sixth largest salmon producer in the world by acquiring a 100% stake in SalmoNor

    In June 2021, NTS acquired Salmo through cash payment and equity transferNor 100% equity, SalmoNor merged with NTS subsidiary Midt-Norsk Havbruk (MNH), the merged company is still called SalmoNor, the number of salmon licenses reaches 10, and the total output is 36,500 tons
