Moscow, Nov.
24 (Sputnik) -- Russian fishery companies are testing a new logistics route
for transporting fish products from Murmansk to China during a business visit organized by the Russian social group Business Russia, Ilya Rakovsky, chairman of the Fisheries Union of the Russian Republic of Karelia.

According to Rakovsky, fish products will first be transported by rail from Murmansk to Vladivostok, and then transported by sea to China
.

He noted that the advice on the opening of this new transport route was mainly provided by the company "Russian Railway Logistics
".

Between January and October 2022, Russia exported 430,000 tons of fish products to China, an increase of 50% over the same period last year, according to the Russian Customs Service of Russia.

year-on-year.
