The Russian Fisheries Company (RFC) announced that the refrigerated containers shipped from the port of Vladivostok will be sent directly to Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia, and will no longer be sent to the Port of Busan in China and South Korea
    .

Savely Karpukhin, Deputy General Manager of RFC, said: “We do our best to use the Port of Vladivostok as a logistics hub to minimize the detention period of products delivered to customers, and to ensure the quality and safety of output, and avoid the new crown In the context of the epidemic, some countries’ ports are closed to the risks of exporting Russian products
    .
    "

RFC pointed out that the Vladivostok port transportation plan is supported by the state, enjoys transportation subsidies, and is cost-competitive.
It is expected that the export volume of Vladivostok port will increase substantially after 2022
    .

"The government supports the development of domestic ports, especially the ports in the Far East, to help create new jobs in the region, increase taxation, and promote the competitiveness of Russian ports
    .
Since the beginning of this year, RFC has passed the port of Vladivostok.
Shipped more than 1,000 refrigerated containers
    .
At the same time, we are also developing railway export business.
In the near future, RFC will ship goods directly to Germany, the Netherlands and Slovakia
    .
    " Karpukhin said
    .

In order to avoid the risk of China's trade, from September this year, RFC will start a new 105-meter super frozen processing tug for the production of fish fillets and surimi to replace the export of H&G (head and dirty) raw materials
    .

"The RFC strategy focuses on the development of the deep processing industry
    .
Now, considering the problems in China, we need to accelerate this plan, not only to build new ships, but also to upgrade existing fishing tugs
    .
" An RFC spokesperson told UCN, a subsidiary of RFC.
After the conversion of the Pavel Batov processing vessel is completed, the company's frozen fish fillet production capacity will reach 6 vessels
    .
In addition, RFC's onshore processing plant in Krabozavodsk has just passed MSC certification
    .

Since the beginning of this year, the output of single frozen pollock fillets in Russia has increased by 35% to 61,000 tons, and the output of H&G raw materials has fallen to 160,000 tons
