Russian Railways sends a container train of rapeseed oil from Smolensk to China

Moscow, 3 Nov (Russian Satellite News Agency) -- According to the "Russian Railways" company, on 2 November, a container flexitank train sailed from Smolensk to China, with a total of 82 containers and 1,700 tons of
rapeseed oil.

The train departs from Smolensk and will travel to Chongqing
via the Transbaikalsk border crossing.

The transit time is 21 days, which is four times faster than the traditional logistics route passing through the ports of Russia and China, and the frequency is 2 times a
month.
Previously, flexitank trains
were regularly delivered from Orlov, Tula and Bryansk regions.
