Sasso is operating benignly at its new plant for alkylation in China 　

Sasol Limited, an integrated chemicals and energy company, opened a new alkylation plant in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, on April 18, 2019.
construction of the new alkylated chemical plant began in the summer of 2017 and is Sasso's largest expansion project in China.
the plant has an annual production capacity of about 150,000 tons and can use branch chains and straight chain alcohols to meet different customer needs, and its products can be used in detergents, textiles, metal raw materials, lubricants and other professional products end-market

. As part of its scope of business, Sasso also expanded its research and development and technical support capabilities at the Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park.Fleetwood Grobler, executive vice president of
's Sasso Chemicals business, said the Chinese market is expected to account for 40 percent of global demand for chemicals by 2020, and Sasso found that the demand for innovation and differentiation from that market was growing rapidly.
