, cardiovascular disease will remain the leading cause of death from chronic diseases worldwide, according to the World Health Organization. Chronic low-level inflammation, as an important characteristic of various chronic diseases, can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.
recently, Jiangnan University's edible oil nutrition and safety science and technology innovation team published a review article in Food Science and Nutrition Review, through Meta analysis to discuss the correlation between lysic acid and inflammatory factors.
current study suggests that supplementation with monounsaturated fatty acids is associated with a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and other obesity-related diseases. According to an existing Meta analysis, the Mediterranean diet and the olive oil in it reduced C-reactive protein and interlebin-6 levels. Lyoic acid is the main fatty acid component of Mediterranean diet patterns and olive oil (more than 70% of the total) and is also the main fatty acid in dietary fat and plasma triglycerides. Many clinical trials have looked at the effects of lysic acid on inflammatory factors, but the results are contradictory.
The paper screened 719 studies and revealed the effects of increased lysic acid dose on inflammatory factor levels through randomized controlled trials in adults, including cytokines (tumor necrosis factors, leukokines-6), acute stage reaction factors (C-reactive protein, fibrinogen, fibrosygenatory activator inhibitor-1 activity) and adhesive molecules (soluble intercellular adhesive molecule-1, soluble vascular adhesive molecule-1).
31 randomized controlled trials involving 1,634 subjects were eligible in 719 identified studies. The results showed that the supplement lysic acid significantly reduced the C-reactive protein. However, dietary intake of lysoic acid had no significant effect on tumor necrosis factor, leuriatin-6, fibrinogen, fibrolysase primary activator inhibitor-1 activity, soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 and soluble vascular cell adhesion molecule-1.
is one of the important causes of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease. Regulating inflammatory factors in the body through dietary fat factors is very important for the first-level prevention of chronic diseases. The paper systematically analyzed and evaluated the effects of lysic acid on inflammatory factors, and found that lysoic acid significantly reduced the concentration of C-reactive protein, and had no significant effect on the concentration of tumor necrosis factor, leuria-6, fibrinogen, fibroblastogen activator-1 activity, soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 and soluble vascular cell adhesion molecule-1.
This article provides theoretical basis for the prevention and control of chronic diseases mainly cardiovascular diseases, rational adjustment of dietary structure, and formulation of public nutrition and health policies, which is of great significance to further clarify the effects and mechanisms of dietary fat structure on inflammation.
