According to a report on October 19, local time, in the Spanish newspaper El Nacional, a systematic experiment to restore partial vision for the blind has recently achieved results on a 57-year-old Spanish blind woman

This system was designed by scientists at the Miguel Hernández University in Elche, Valencia, Spain.

The key to this technology is to implant micro-electrode plates into the visual area of the blind person's brain, and convert the effect of light on the human eye into electricity through the artificial retina, thereby activating the visual function in the brain
