Selection and adjustment of solvents and thinners in paint formulations

Adjustment method of solvent volatilization speed:

1.
Check the solvent volatilization rate, and calculate the weighted volatilization rate of the solvent, diluent and the entire solvent system after adding the diluent in the paint for reference.
But it should be noted that the solvent volatilization rate found does not consider the influence of the film-forming substance, that is, the volatilization rate of the same solvent in different film-forming substances is still different.
