It is reported that the pharmacy was established in February 2017, obtained the "Practice License for Medical Institutions" in October of the same year, and began to introduce the business of traditional Chinese medicine clinics

In addition, Tianruntang Pharmacy also recently cancelled its Chinese medicine clinic

On January 19, a Chinese medicine (general) clinic under a Tianruntang pharmacy in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province was cancelled.

In addition to local chain pharmacies such as Neptune Star and Tianruntang, the listed chain Jianzhijia has also recently cancelled Chinese medicine clinics

On January 20, the government of the first district of Kunming, Yunnan publicly canceled the license, and the "Medical Institution Practicing License" of a Chinese medicine clinic under Jianzhijia was withdrawn by the local health and health bureau

After the cancellation, the relevant enterprises are not allowed to carry out medical and health care activities without authorization, but the company's investigation shows that the clinic is still in existence.

Compared with the "Interim Measures for the Recordation and Management of Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinics" implemented in December 2017, the new "Interim Measures for the Recordation and Management of Clinics (Draft for Comment)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Draft for Management Opinions") has raised the threshold for the establishment of clinics

"Individuals who run a TCM clinic shall have a "Physician Qualification Certificate" in the category of TCM and have been practicing in medical, preventive and health care institutions for 3 years after registration, or have a "Traditional Chinese Medicine (Specialty) Physician Qualification Certificate"; For traditional Chinese medicine clinics, the main person in charge of the clinic should meet the above requirements

This "Management Opinion Draft" has been revised as follows:

"If an individual runs a clinic, he must obtain the qualification of a practicing doctor, and after registration, he has been engaged in clinical work of the same specialty in a medical and health institution for 5 years; if two or more partners establish a clinic, all partners shall meet the above requirements; legal persons or other If a clinic is organized, the principal person in charge of the clinic shall meet the above requirements

However, compared with the pilot regulations implemented in 2019, the new "Management Opinion Draft" cancels the rigid requirement of "having the title of attending physician or above", which is more in line with the actual situation

The "Basic Standards for Clinics (Revised in 2022, Draft for Comment)" divides clinics into five categories: general clinics, traditional Chinese medicine (general) clinics, integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine clinics, dental clinics and medical beauty clinics.
