Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Bureau 2020 No. 33 provincial food safety sampling information

In accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, the Shanghai Food Safety Regulations and other provisions, the Bureau will now carry out the city's food safety sampling related information published as follows: This sampling information involves 8 categories of food, including: condiments, frozen food, potato and puffed food, cocoa and roasted coffee products, sugar, food and beverage products, food additives, edible agricultural products.
samples for sampling a total of 783 batches, of which 780 batches were qualified and 3 batches were not qualified.
non-conforming samples for potato and puffed food 1 batch (unqualified items: total number of colonies), food and beverage food 2 batches (unqualified items: E. coli groups), sample information is detailed in the annex.
Regarding the non-conforming products found in the above-mentioned sampling, the Bureau has requested the relevant regional market supervision and administration to promptly investigate and deal with the unqualified food and its production operators, investigate and deal with them in accordance with the law, further urge enterprises to fulfill their legal obligations, and record the relevant information into the food safety credit file of food producers and operators.
