    Sinochem News News on November 23, Shell announced that it is planning to build a biofuel plant in Singapore to help the company achieve its goal of halving emissions by 2030


    Shell plans to build a biofuel plant with an annual output of 550,000 tons to produce hydrogen from edible oil and animal fat, and then use it as a raw material for the production of diesel for road transportation, aviation fuel or chemicals


    In addition, Shell will build a pyrolysis oil upgrading device to improve the quality of pyrolysis oil


    The plant has an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons, which will be the largest in Asia, with a processing equivalent of approximately 7.
