On June 1, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the second batch of "Modern Superior Industrial Clusters + Artificial Intelligence" pilot and demonstration enterprises in the province.

The list of these 12 chemical companies includes 4 types of projects including smart manufacturing, smart factory, smart transformation and robot replacement.

It is understood that a total of 10 chemical companies and projects were selected as the first batch of "Modern Superior Industrial Clusters + Artificial Intelligence" pilot demonstration companies and projects announced in May last year.

According to the person in charge of Linglong Tire’s Intelligent Manufacturing and Big Data Fusion Application Demonstration Project: “Linglong Tire has been selected as a pilot demonstration enterprise twice, thanks to the company’s persistence in transforming and upgrading traditional industries for many years, accelerating the construction of an intelligent manufacturing system, and adopting intelligent chip technology and vision.

It is reported that in May 2019, the Shandong Provincial Government issued the "Guiding Opinions on Vigorously Promoting "Modern Superior Industrial Clusters + Artificial Intelligence"", clearly implementing the intelligent upgrading project of the high-end chemical industry.
