SPORT GROUP and BASF collaborate on sustainable sports floors

SPORT GROUP, of which Polytan is a subsidiary, is partnering with the German multinational chemical company BASF to distribute and install Infinergy®'s new sustainable flooring system

BASF offers Infinergy®, the first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU) for a flooring portfolio

This high-performance material has good environmental properties and is Oeko-Tex® certified
.
Functionality, stability and environmental compatibility have all undergone extensive testing, making Infinergy® a forward-looking alternative to previously used materials
.
In addition, the product ensures that the production cycle is free of residual waste, as it can be completely recycled and reused without harmful residues

In the outdoor sector, the material can be used as an elastic layer for unsealed, sustainable and environmentally friendly sports facilities, tracks and playgrounds
