recently, scientists from King's College London found that people who drank red wine had a higher risk of intestinal microbiodity and a lower risk of obesity and lower levels of bad cholesterol compared to those who did not drink red wine. The study was published in the international journal Gastroenterology. The researchers said the diversity of gut microbiomes in individuals who drank red wine was higher than in people who did not drink red wine. The results of this paper suggest that there is a strong correlation between moderate intake of red wine and the diversity of the body's gut health and gut microbiome, which may explain to some extent the long-disputed beneficial effects of red wine on the body's health., the researchers observed that the gut microbiome of individuals who drank red wine contained a large number of different bacterial groups compared to those who did not drink red wine. The researchers observed the findings in three different groups of researchers in the United Kingdom, the United States and the Netherlands, taking into account factors such as participants' age, weight, diet and socioethic status. The researchers believe that perhaps the main reason for this association is the polyphenols contained in red wine, a natural compound found in many fruits and vegetables, with a variety of beneficial properties, such as antioxidant properties.
