On February 17, the CDE official website showed that in order to guide the scientific research and development and evaluation of antiviral drugs for new coronavirus pneumonia and provide technical standards for reference, the Center for Drug Evaluation has formulated the "Technical Guiding Principles for Clinical Trials of New Antiviral Drugs for Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia".

The guiding principles are applicable to chemical drugs and therapeutic biological products (excluding non-specific immunoglobulin) for antiviral treatment and prevention of novel coronavirus pneumonia.
