Bangkok Post reported on January 20 that Thailand's first batch of 1,000 tons of rice transported by the China-Laos Railway arrived in Chongqing on the 20th, marking the opening of a new channel for Thai products to be exported to China

Along Gong, advisor to the Minister of Agricultural Cooperation of Thailand, said that through the China-Laos Railway, Thai fruits can be transported to Sichuan in only 1-2 days, which will greatly promote the development of Thai agricultural products in mainland China, Central Asia, the Middle East, Russia and Europe
