Eastman Chemical Corporation (NYSE:EMN) recently announced that its new isodric acid plant in Kingsport, Tennessee, has been completed and production will begin within weeks. The start-up of the new unit will double Eastman's total isodric acid production capacity, and the company's other unit is in Longview, Texas.
