    Comprehensive Thai media reported on November 29 that the Thai Ministry of Commerce intends to expand the Chinese market through free trade agreements (FTA) .

    The Thai Ministry of Commerce intends to encourage companies to use free trade agreements to expand their trade shares in overseas markets and increase export opportunities, especially to the Chinese market

    Companies can take full advantage of the advantages brought by the China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement.
    China has eliminated import tariffs on certain agricultural products from Thailand, such as food, agricultural products, and processed agricultural products
    .
    The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) will come into effect on January 1, 2022, and companies can use the agreement to expand exports of Thai products to RCEP member countries
    .
     
    The Thai Ministry of Commerce and the Expert Committee have screened 20 export food and processed agricultural products entrepreneurs to participate in this year’s projects, such as processed cashew nuts, fried bananas, processed coconut products, dried mangoes, dried aloe vera, cookies, jams, rice crackers, sauces and curry powder
    .
    After that, these 20 entrepreneurs will participate in training camps to learn how to use free trade agreements to promote exports; develop business plans to expand China's online and offline markets, and understand consumer behavior in the Chinese market
    .
    In the end, a business plan will be selected.
    The five winning entrepreneurs will participate in online business matching activities with Chinese importers, and they will be able to sell products on the e-commerce platform in the Chinese market
    .
