    The research team purified the complete ClpP protease complex from Chlamydomonas reinhardtii chloroplasts using affinity tags


    The results of this study clarified for the first time the three-dimensional structure and catalytic mechanism of the ClpP complex in the chloroplast of eukaryotic cells.


    Researcher Liu Cuimin from the Institute of Genetics and Development of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and researcher Cong Yao from the Center of Molecular Cell Excellence are the co-corresponding authors of the paper
