    studies have shown that heterogenous G protein tripolymer and calcium-dependent kinase CPK28 regulate the accumulation of BIK1 protein in plants, respectively, but the mechanism of its regulation of the stability of BIK1 protein is not clear.
    this new study, E3 ubiquitin connecting enzymes PUB25 and PUB26 promote salutation of the BIK1 protein through protease pathways, negatively regulating immune response and disease resistance.
    the activity of PUB25/26 is regulated by the double regulation of G protein CPK28, while in the resting state, the G protein interacts directly with PUB25/26 to inhibit the activity of its ubiquitin-linked enzymes, thereby enhancing the stability of BIK1 and ensuring that the immune response can be initiated quickly when the disease is attacked, while in the immune activation state, CPK28 directly phosphorylated pubilythtic pu25/26, enhances its approxprox.25/26 activity to promote the hyperactivation of the immune activation.
    researchers also found that PUB25/26 specifically targeted inactive forms of BIK1, and has no effect on the activated BIK1, which indicates that plants on the one hand by degradation of the unactivated BIK1, to avoid excessive accumulation of active BIK1, on the other hand to maintain the activated BIK1, the formation of immune balance, to ensure the immune response.
