The number of livestock in parts of Ukraine will decrease in 2020

Ukraine's Interfax news agency quoted the State Statistics Agency as saying on January 19, 2021, the total number of poultry in Ukraine was 199.9 million, a decrease of 9.3% year-on-year.
poultry in agricultural enterprises fell 14.7 per cent year-on-year to 109 million, while the number of domesticly farmed poultry fell 2 per cent to 90.8 million.
addition, the number of cattle in Ukraine fell by 6.2% year-on-year to 2.89 million as of January 1 this year, with 990,000 (-4.9%) in aniculture enterprises and 1.9 million in households (-6.9%).

number of sheep and goats decreased by 5.0 per cent to 1.14 million, of which 150,000 were agricultural enterprises (-11.6 per cent) and 990,000 were domestically farmed (-4.0 per cent).
The number of cattle raised in Ukraine fell by 6.5 per cent to 3.12 million in 2019, the number of pigs fell by 4.9 per cent to 5.73 million, sheep and goats fell by 4.8 per cent to 1.21 million, and the number of poultry increased by 4.2 per cent to 220 million.
