The research team reported the chloroplast genomes of nine Chinese Sophora plants for the first time, and combined with the five published species to study their chloroplast genome characteristics, repetitive sequences and highly polymorphic sites .
The research team used scanning electron microscopy to study the pollen morphology of 43 samples of a total of 27 species, 4 subspecies and 4 varieties of Sophora and 3 related genera to assess the pollen diversity of the genus and its taxonomy meaning .
