“Mechanism of intestinal flora and proteomics in regulating immune function of Durio Zibethinus rind polysaccharide” is the result of the collaboration between the food dual-use resource research team of the National Edible Fungus Processing Technology Research and Development Center and the Hebei Food Inspection Research Institute/Hebei Medical University Forensic Medicine Researcher Zhang Yan’s team Recently, it was published in the journal "Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity" (immediate IF: 5.

Durio ( Durio zibethinus Murr) is the fruit of durian, an evergreen tree in the genus Durian of the Ceiba family.

This study used cyclophosphamide (CTX) administration to establish an immunosuppressive mouse model.

The results show that compared with the model group, the durian skin polysaccharide high-dose group (200 mg/kg) can significantly increase the thymus and spleen index and improve the spleen tissue structure; significantly increase the cytokines interleukin-2 (IL-2) and interleukin- 4 (IL-4), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF- α ) content; increase serum acid phosphatase (ACP), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), superoxide dismutation Enzyme (SOD) and total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) activity; increase the activity of catalase (CAT) in the liver, reduce the content of malondialdehyde (MDA), and enhance the immune activity of immunosuppressive model mice.

The team conducts continuous research on polysaccharides and immune functions, and the results have been published in Food Research International (IF 5.
