Hygienic Chinese exports
On July 27 this year, Kakuzi delivered 72 kilograms of avocado to Shanghai
by air for the first time.
A month later, on August 26, 45 tons of fresh avocados arrived in the Waigaoqiao port area
of Shanghai on a freighter.
Kakuzi is currently preparing to ship a second batch of avocados in 20-foot containers, and the freighter is expected to depart by the end of

Kakuzi managing director Christopher Flowers said the container was ready and will be transshipped to the port of Mombasa over the weekend and is expected to arrive in China
in 30 days.
