    Conference, was successfully held on the morning of October 18th at the 21st International Nutrition Congress in Argentina, a symposium organized by the Chinese Nutrition Society, "Phytonutrients in Nutrition and Health and Health: From Theory to Practice" (Plant Compound Nutrition and Health: From Theory to Practice). The conference attracted more than 200 scientists from all over the world. We are gathered to discuss in depth the function, content and management and scientific advice of plant compounds.the

    Was co-chaired by Chairman Yang Yuanxin of the Chinese Nutrition Society and Ms. Audra Davies, Professor Ling Wenhua of Sun Yat-sen University, Ms. ALLI KLOSNER of the New Cuilai Center for Nutrition and Health Research, Han Junhua Researcher of China National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center, AN of the Independent Advisory Organization of the United States Dr. SHAODREW and four other experts exchanged views on the role of plant compounds in the prevention and treatment of metabolic syndrome, the impact of global plant food (fruit and vegetable) intake on plant compound intake, the level of phytosterols in Chinese plant foods and specific recommended values, the global status of myopathic obesity and the role of plant compounds.
    Because of the huge burden of obesity and chronic diseases facing the world today, the study of plant compounds to prevent chronic diseases has become a hot topic of international research, so the conference report has received high attention from participants, scientists from all over the world have asked questions and interacted well with speakers. At the same time, the Chinese Nutrition Society in 2013 issued the "Chinese residents dietary nutrient reference intake", the 2016 release of the "Chinese residents dietary guidelines" in English version of the booklet was sought after by participants.
    The Chinese Nutrition Society will continue to sum up the experience of the conference, seek global nutrition research hot spots, play China's great role in the international arena and maintain close contact and cooperation with scientists from all countries to jointly promote the development and application of nutrition science research to safeguard public health.
