Our committee held a seminar on the standard system of pharmaceutical packaging materials in Beijing on July 28, 2021.
The Pharmacopoeia Commission first briefly introduced the evaluation of the implementation of the existing pharmaceutical packaging material standards and the thinking and progress in the construction of the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" pharmaceutical packaging material standard system
Experts at the meeting said that the existing pharmaceutical packaging material standards are mainly based on the original pharmaceutical packaging material registration system, which cannot meet the needs of related review and approval and industry development.
Yang Zhaopeng, deputy secretary-general of the Pharmacopoeia Commission, emphasized that the Commission should accelerate the construction of the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" standard system for pharmaceutical packaging materials.
