In order to strengthen the technical support for the classification and management of medical devices, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Medical Devices, the Rules for the Classification of Medical Devices and the Rules for the Classification of In Vitro Diagnostic Reagents, the State Medical Products Administration decided to establish the second Technical Committee
for the Classification of Medical Devices.
The second technical committee of medical device classification is composed of 341 members, with an executive committee and 16 professional groups, and the secretariat is located in the medical device standard management center
of the State Medical Products Administration.
