The study found that France may have seen new crown cases in November 2019

PARIS, Feb. 10 (Xinhua Chen Chen) A serum test for more than 9,000 French people showed that some of those sampled between November 2019 and January 2020 tested positive for new coronavirus-related tests, indicating that France may have had new coronal infections as early as November 2019.

the researchers selected serum samples from 9,144 people living in 12 regions of the French mainland between November 4, 2019 and March 16, 2020, with an average age of 55 years, 51 percent of whom were women. Immunosorption tests on these samples showed that 353 of them were positive. The researchers then tested the blood samples of more than 500 people, including people who tested positive for enzyme-linked immunosorption, for new coronavirus and antibodies, and 44 people tested positive for new coronary meso-antibodies.
particular note is that of those sampled between 5 November 2019 and 30 January 2020, 13 tested positive, seven of whom tested positive, seven of whom had blood samples taken in November 2019. The researchers believe the study suggests that France may have had new crown cases as early as November 2019.
