On December 2, professor Wang Gang's team at Beijing Stable Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University, in collaboration with Professor Xie Peng of Chongqing Medical University's First Hospital and Professor Hu Shaohua from Zhejiang University's First Hospital, conducted research that revealed the interaction mechanisms of different phages, bacteria and fecal metabolites in the MDD intestinal ecosystem, providing insights into the role of the entire intestinal ecosystem in the pathogenesis of MDD and helping to develop scientific MDD diagnostic methods.
