    Recently, the collaborative team of Professor Zhang Wenming from the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering of Shanghai Jiaotong University and Professor Yang Bin from the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering published research results in Advanced Materials.

    Wearable blood pressure continuous monitoring technology has been widely studied due to its portability of the monitoring process, which provides an important development approach to solve the problems of traditional blood pressure measurement


    Arterial Pulse Piezoelectric Response Characteristics

    Based on piezoelectric dynamics and hemodynamics, the theoretical model of piezoelectric sensor dynamic response analysis of arterial pulse was established, and the mapping relationship between piezoelectric pulse wave and arterial blood pressure wave was revealed


    At the same time, in order to explore the impact of human motion on pulse monitoring, the researchers extracted pulse waves of different time lengths from the radial artery and metacarpophalangeal artery of the elbow, respectively, and obtained eight groups of pulse waves of different time lengths in four postures


    The research has been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China Key Project, General Project and Youth Project, Shanghai "Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan" and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation
