Rachada, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister’s Office, recently stated that in order to solve the problem of low longan prices caused by the decline in Chinese orders, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Agricultural Cooperatives have urgently introduced the following measures:
1) Vigorously develop the domestic market, sign purchase agreements between growers, wholesalers, and agricultural products processing factories, and support distribution points across the country, with a total of 1028 branches and a total of more than 80,000 tons

2) Provide the longan producing government with the management cost of the longan product at the price of 3 baht per kilogram, totaling 6 prefectures, totaling more than 15,764 tons
