Tu Pengfei team introduced the molecular probe concept in the field of current chemical biology into the target identification of the active ingredients of Chinese medicine, and found that creaside-5-monophosphate dehydrogenase 2 (IMPDH2) is a key target for its anti-neuro-inflammatory role. Further research also found that Sumosterone A can induce the modification of the target protein IMPDH2 co-price, and then induce its mutation inactivation, inhibit the activation of multiple inflammatory-related signaling path paths downstream of the target protein, and finally achieve anti-neuroinflammation.
