procurement data 。 On October 27, the Shandong Provincial Medical Insurance Bureau gave a detailed introduction to the country's first inter-provincial joint procurement of traditional Chinese medicine pieces led by Shandong, and in 2022, Shandong will prefer 21 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine pieces with large clinical use, and Shandong will take the lead in exploring and carrying out the first inter-provincial joint procurement of
traditional Chinese medicine pieces in the country 。 On October 31, the "Sanming Procurement Alliance Inter-provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine (Material) Procurement Alliance Chinese Medicine Pieces Joint Procurement Document (Draft for Comments)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Draft for Comments") was released and began to solicit opinions
from the public.

According to the Draft for Comments, the joint procurement covers a total of 42 specifications
of 21 varieties.
It is reported that after the official launch of the joint procurement of traditional Chinese medicine pieces, the variety and procurement area will be gradually expanded, and more varieties will be accelerated nationwide

It is worth mentioning that price fluctuations are the difficulty in the joint procurement of Chinese medicine pieces, and recently, there have been cases of suspension of trading or withdrawal of
proprietary Chinese medicines in many places.
For example, the Hainan Provincial Public Resources Trading Service Center recently issued the Notice on the Suspension of Trading of Some Network-Linked Products, in which 2,810 proprietary Chinese medicine products were suspended, including varieties such as Huoxiang Zhengqi Water, Banlan Root Granules, Liuwei Dihuang Pills, and Bezoar Detoxification Tablets, involving 786 enterprises
.
Regarding the reasons for the suspension of trading of proprietary Chinese medicine products, the Notice states that these are varieties that have been on the network for one year but have no transaction records, and if you need to restore the trading qualification, you need to submit a demand application from a second-level medical institution or above, and the transaction
can be resumed only after it is approved.
In addition to Hainan, in the past two months, Shandong, Liaoning, Guizhou and other places have also successively announced the suspension of the hanging
of proprietary Chinese medicine products in varying quantities.
The analysis believes that under the normalization of centralized procurement, price reduction has become a general trend, and the reason behind the withdrawal of many proprietary Chinese medicines is actually the increase in production costs of enterprises and the pressure on the
profits of pharmaceutical companies.
