    Solution polymerized styrene butadiene rubber, or SSBR, is a rubber elastomer made by copolymerization of styrene and butadiene.
    It is different from the traditional polymerization method of styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), which gives the material non-slip, abrasion resistance and low temperature resistance.
    As well as its excellent properties such as good initial tack, it has been widely used in high-end shoe materials, adhesives and other industries.
    Compared with ordinary shoe materials, the performance of adhesives has been greatly improved
    .

    Due to the similar structure of SSBR and SBC materials, they have good compatibility and can be directly added and used.
    Its excellent characteristics give it its application in adhesive products.
    Its excellent characteristics include:

    ①High flexibility;

    ②Good initial viscosity;

    ③Good cold resistance;

    ④ Good storage stability
    .

    Moreover, the solution polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber raw rubber has low ash content, high purity, colorless and transparent, good processing fluidity, and good compatibility with a variety of rubber types, such as: neoprene, nitrile rubber, etc.

    Take laminated glass glue as an example: a composite glass product formed by sandwiching transparent polyvinyl butyral film or other glue materials between two or more sheets of glass and gluing under heating and pressure

    .

    SSBR has the above-mentioned properties of high elasticity, self-adhesiveness, and low temperature resistance.

    When applied to laminated glue, it can not only improve the self-adhesiveness and low temperature resistance of the material, but also improve the impact resistance of laminated glass, and it is not easy to break
    .

    A hot melt adhesive formula with excellent initial tack and cold resistance is as follows (for reference only):

    The basic process of the above hot melt adhesive formula:

    1) Take part of the grease and heat it into the styrene-butadiene rubber, continue heating until the styrene-butadiene rubber is completely melted, add the remaining grease, all the styrene thermoplastic elastomer rubber and part of the resin, and continue heating until the solid raw material is completely melted;

    2) After adding the remaining resin, antioxidant, and polyisobutylene, mix well, cool and solidify, and it is complete
