Good corrosion resistance
In order to achieve this new technology, the coating system must have corrosion protection, must have sufficient outdoor weather resistance, and must have sufficient bonding strength for structural bonding of other components. The preliminary results show that the electric coatings studied have good anti-corrosion properties. Depending on the type of coat, UV and weather resistance reach the required value (gloss hold rate >50%) after 1000 h manual weather resistance on CAM 180. Preliminary studies on structural bonding show that high bonding strength can be achieved.
