    Vietnam’s " Customs Online" reported on December 9 that from January to November 2021, Vietnam’s tuna exports to the Middle East market increased by 15% year-on-year.
    The Middle East market has become Vietnam’s fourth largest tuna export market after the United States , the European Union , and CPTPP member states .
     
    According to the introduction of tuna market experts from the Vietnam Aquatic Products Export and Processing Association (VASEP), as of now, 28 Vietnamese companies have exported tuna to the Middle East market.
    Among them, Vietnam Tuna Co.
    , Ltd.
    , Jinfa Canned Food Co.
    , Ltd.
    The export volume accounts for 60% of Vietnam’s total tuna exports to the Middle East market
    .
    Israel, Egypt, and Lebanon are still the three countries with the largest imports of Vietnamese tuna in the Middle East
    .
    Since the beginning of this year, Vietnam's tuna exports to Israel have maintained a 39% year-on-year growth compared to 2020.
    However, due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Vietnam's tuna exports to Egypt and Lebanon have both decreased by 4% year-on-year
