Vietnam's first frozen shrimp will be exported in 2021

(People's Daily) Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development held the first frozen shrimp export ceremony in 2021 with the People's Committee of The People's Republic of China and The People's Committee of The Back River-Mingfu Aquatic Co., Ltd. on January 5.

Tong Wenqing, chairman of the People's Committee of the post-Jiangjiang Province, said that the Kowloon Delta region and the country's aquaculture industry are facing huge development opportunities, especially after the entry into force of the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), tariffs will be significantly reduced, opening the door for Vietnamese shrimp exports.
