According to data from the Vietnam Aquatic Export and Producers Association (VASEP), in the first five months of this year , saltwater fish accounted for 75% of Vietnam’s seafood exports, tuna 22%, other fish products 53%, and molluscs 20%.

Nguyen Ha, a tuna market expert from the Vietnam Fisheries Export and Producers Association (VASEP), said that in addition to tuna, Vietnam’s top five seafood import markets include CPTPP, which accounts for 26%, South Korea 11%, the United States 8%, and China 7%.
