The total investment in the new plant is approximately 134.4 million euros, creating 50 new jobs at the Charleston plant.

to date, WACKER has produced pyridration silicon dioxide at its plants in Borghausen and NancyRitz, Germany, and at its plants in Zhangjiagang, China. The new plant in Charleston now allows the company to supply directly to customers in the Americas with the thermally desolyzed silicon dioxide.
