    The Ministry of Ecology and Environment today informed the media about the implementation of environmental administrative punishment cases and the supporting measures of the Environmental Protection Law from January to July 2018, and praised relevant provinces, cities, and counties.



    From January to July, a total of 91,770 penalty decisions were issued in environmental administrative penalty cases nationwide, with a fine of 7.



    From January to July, the top ten cities in terms of the number of administrative penalties were: Shijiazhuang, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Weifang, Handan, Chengdu, Foshan, and Nanjing; the amount of administrative penalties The top ten cities are: Xuzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Shijiazhuang, Wuxi, Kunming, Nantong, Guangzhou, Tangshan, and Dongguan.



    From January to July, the top ten counties (districts) in the number of administrative penalty cases were: Shouguang City, Weifang, Wuqing District, Tianjin City, Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, Shunde District, Foshan City, Laizhou City, Yantai City, Jinzhou City, Shijiazhuang City, and Suzhou Wujiang District, Shenzhen City, Baoan District, Shenzhen City, Gaocheng District, Shijiazhuang City, Daxing District, Beijing.



    From January to July, the total number of five types of cases implemented nationwide was 23,335, an increase of 13.



    The six provinces with a large number of supporting measures are Jiangsu, Guangdong, Anhui, Zhejiang, Shaanxi, and Fujian, and the four provinces with a significant increase in the number of cases are Jiangsu, Hebei, Guangdong, and Guangxi.



    From January to July, the top ten cities in the number of supporting measures were: Taizhou City, Guangzhou City, Wuxi City, Xuzhou City, Luliang City, Xi'an City, Taizhou City, Suzhou City, Changzhou City, and Quanzhou City.



    As of the end of July, all prefectures and cities across the country have applied the "Environmental Protection Law" supporting measures to investigate and deal with cases.
