The main goals of the agenda include achieving 90% coverage of basic vaccinations in children and adolescents by 2030; halving the number of children who are not vaccinated at all; and completing the introduction of new or underutilized vaccines in 500 countries or regions , Such as vaccines against new coronavirus, rotavirus or human papillomavirus.

WHO Director-General Tan Desai said that vaccines will help end the new crown pandemic, but the premise is to ensure that all countries have fair access to vaccines and establish a strong vaccine supply system.

A WHO survey found that about 37% of surveyed countries still report that their routine immunization services are disrupted by the new crown epidemic.

UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore said that the signs before the new crown pandemic have shown that humans are beginning to lose their advantage in preventing preventable childhood diseases, and 20 million children have missed critical vaccinations.
