Wire lotus

line lotus, also known as Panlian, is native to south-central China. Happy warm and humid and semi-yin environment, more cold, avoid water and drought, require fertile, well-drained, alkaline soil containing manganese salts.





Reproduction:


mainly by cutting, pressing and seeding. In June-July, choose semi-mature branches 10-15 cm long, with 2 buds on the section, inserted in the sand bed, after 15-20 natural roots. Press bar, early spring to take the mature branches of the last year, slightly injured, buried in 3-4 cm deep soil, keep moist, that year can take root, dig up the basin. Sowing, autumn seeding, winter sand collection, spring sowing the following year, sprouting 3-4 weeks after planting.


Cultivation:
